1. Search an entire Bill of Materials (BOM)
Once logged into your account, you can do batch searches for everything you need for a project. Simply upload your Bill of Materials to gain fast access to the parts. Upload your BOM in any file format with up to 50 separate parts. Once uploaded, your search will return results for each part, including which suppliers have them in stock.

2. Part Alerts
Even with the vast number of suppliers and parts in our database, there are occasions when something you need may not be in stock when you search for it. But that doesn’t mean you are stuck. We built our search system to make your life easier, saving you time by helping you locate the parts you need quickly.
If a part is not in stock, you can create an alert to notify you when the part is available again. The system then notifies you once a part comes into stock. To prevent you from being bombarded with alerts, the system emails you weekly about the parts that have come in stock. Manage alerts easily with just a few clicks from your account, so you are never stuck receiving messages you no longer need.
3. Pick your vendors
Sometimes you just need a part, regardless of who has it. For many other projects, though, you may prefer to stick to a specific supplier. Whether vendor preference makes the order process easier or because you received good service from and built trust with one particular vendor, you can set your searches to show only parts available from your chosen vendors.
You can manage your vendors through your account, add private contact information for vendors you have previously worked with, give each vendor ratings, and add notes for every vendor as required. You can then set your search criteria to a specific group of vendors or vendors above a certain rating. While average ratings for vendors are publicly viewable, your rating and any comments you make remain entirely confidential and for you alone.
You can refine searches over time by rating vendors you use, as well as focus on vendors you already have a relationship with, ensuring that you receive the best service possible from your searches.

Once all the parts are entered, however, you can search up to 50 items simultaneously.
With Bulk search, you get all your results with a single click, see which vendors have the parts, and find the best prices for individual components. Don’t forget to combine this search, or any other, with vendor criteria to find the best vendors with the parts you need for any project.
